Does anyone know where Alex has gone? He disappeared from my screen at 4:05 precisely!

Another example of hypocrisy.

MSM meet blogger who has contributers who have stated over and over again that such blog contributers hate MSM.

Interesting there seems to have been another memo. The BC Liberal PAB have dropped Christy Clark! They are already stabbing her in the back! Rumour is that the assassin case is going to kill her career. In this matter I agree with the msm spin of the moment!

Mark is a credible reporter and if he want's Bill on his program so much the better. The robo call thing is getting bigger by the day as harper dances up and down blaming those awful opposition parties.

Sorry dude, doesn't matter if MSM reporter is credible or not. The main thing is that many here have torn apart the MSM and figure the bloggers are better than they are, so what happens? Bill decides to go to MSM (which by all means he is free to do so), but to support that idea by those who constantly ragged on the MSM is pure hypocrisy!

The contention is not the subject but the hypocrisy of supporting a blog owner going to the MSM with his audience previously constantly complaining and whining about the MSM and their apparent bias.

Especially with the CBC and their biases!

Now, Now, now folks. I think the post is announcing bill's presence on a t.v. show. Why would he know where Alex is?

The C.B.C. isn't so bad, have you checked some of the other news stations.

I think it will be interesting to listen to the program regarding the robo calls. It may appear a Con has overstepped something along the way and landed in something no one wants to be in.

I would suggest it is in Harper's best interest to get ahead of this but he could just wait until Election Canada issues a report. At least that way he and the rest of the cons can continue to receive their pay, enjoy the perks, & move through any legistlation which they need for the pipelines & tankers.

It's not a question of whether the CBC is "bad" or "good". For months now, blog contributors on here have constantly whined and complained about the bias of all MSM and it so happens that Bill here goes to MSM to advertise his opinions? Bill can do what he likes
he is entitled to, but it is hypocrisy big time that blog contributors here are in support of that.

Either you are for MSM or you aren't.

If you pick and chooose then your position is MSM is not bad. (some are but in generic terms MSM is not bad.)

We don't know yet if it is clearly and explicitly known that the robocalls came directly from the phone call system bought by the Conservatives.

Let's just let this run its course on presented and verifiable evidence before we make judgement.

Well known here that blog contributors hate Conservatives but if such contributors are going to make accusations that are later proven false, then the credibility of those contributors is lost.

But they obviously wouldn't care.

Seems racknine is suing Pat Martin for defamation. They claim to have lost a lot of business because of Martin speaking against them in the House and the media.

There is no grey - there is only black and white! You read blogs or you read the MSM! Not both!

If you read CBC news you love the National Post and that is all there is to it. Clear?

Why not read blogs and Mainstream press. How else will you know what they are talking about. Harper doesn't like the CBC and some stories say they are about to get a 10 percent loss of funding.

It'snot a question of reading both MSM and blogs. It's a question of the hypocrisy of some blog contributors here constantly crying and whining about "bias" in MSM.

A few including some here figure the blogs are "better" than MSM when it comes to reporting and "journalism".

So obviously the blog contributors don't like MSM but go ahead and read and watch anyway.

That's hypocrisy.

In our courts, people can go and write on the proceedings. Our system does not allow photography in the court room.

Bill was reporting on the Basi/Virk case from the Court House, so nothing new there.

and no I do not want television or cameras in the court room. The trial lawyers will be acting out and it will end up as a circus as do many trials in the U.S. do such as the OJ Simpson trial.

People should read, listen to and watch mainstream media but balance it with blogs and alternative media - no contradiction in that at all!

Agree there, but why the hypocrisy from many blog contributors? They were perpetually screeching that MSM is all biased and that the blogs present a more accurate picture which is false.

They were screeching as if they wanted MSM eliminated from their scope of view, and yet this same group of contributors "seletively" support MSM.

As for blogs, many are opinions and poor research methodology and some contributors just shoot off on their keyboards.

The Tyee used to be good, but now it is just a toilet bowl for the left wing crowd to barf into.

It's not balanced as it used to be.

DPL said...

If the Tyee is so shitty, why do anons bother to check it out or for that matter, why bother to comment if you can't even manage a couple of initials so folks won't have to guess which anon is upset.

Well this anon gave up on The Tyee after it degraded into not much more than a cesspool and septic tank of left wing opinion.

There is no upset, it's a matter showing the hypocrisy of blog contributors supporting MSM on a blog such as this one after months of complaining, moaning and whining about how the MSM is biased and that blogs are much better.

as for a couple of initials as a label, well anyone can write in DPL
or LPD, or PLD. or just not even bother and just use Anonymous as it is an automatic choice.

It's up to the readers to figure out the direction of opinion. No sense in doing the homework for them.

"It's up to the readers to figure out the direction of opinion."

Doesn't this allow for anyone to draw their opinion from any where? Even from "shitty... cesspool and septic tank of left wing opinion"?

Not a question of direction of opinon, it is about the hypocrisy of blog contributors here continually complaining and whining about MSM, and yet there's praise when Bill here goes to the Mother Network for a little politiking (which he has every right to do as he wishes).

So even if the blog contributors who have complained and whined about MSM now see Mark as a credible reporter, it is still hypocrisy, big time.

Autism is a particularly difficult condition in CC's BC Liberal BC:

If there's problem, get the NDP to fix it, and if they don't, defend their position for not doing so.

Might be something for Bill to be an advocate for, since if the NDP becomes governmment, he won't be launching any big time complaint projects like he's done in the past. (and I might add he was quite good and successful at it).
