Tieleman on CTV BC at 6 p.m. Sunday on NO BC HST hitting over 54,000 members!

Tune in tonight at 6 p.m. and hopefully 11:30 p.m. as well to CTV BC - channel 9 in the Lower Mainland - for a story on NO BC HST - the Facebook protest group I started - hitting over 54,000 members today.

Reporter St. John Alexander of CTV interviewed me today and disclosed that YES BC HST - a Facebook group that actually supports imposing the HST - has only about 100 members - and 6 are BC Liberal MLAs!

If you haven't yet joined NO BC HST please do so by hitting the links here.

I saw the piece. St. John is CTV's best reporter. IT was a great piece and you should be proud of your efforts.

The HST is yet another in the long list of frauds perpetrated by Gordon Campbell. The reason I was one of the first to join is not just because the HST in unnecessary, but too, that there is NOW WAY Premier Grotto could have not known about it through the election.

As anyone with an objective opinion can plainly see, he would have lost the election if it was on the table.

What does that tell you about how much he cares about your families, folks? What does it tell you about how much regard Gordon Campbell has for your businesses or your jobs?

I will continue to encourage my friends to join the group Bill. Keep up the great work!

Gordon Campbell was elected as a provincial politician. When provincial politicians start acting as national statesmen, then there are often dire political and economic consequences if the provincial electorate feel disenfranchised. In this case - the HST - what is marginal at best on a national framework looks as if it will have disproportionate and adverse effects at the provincial and local scale.

And you can see why our federal politicians are completely silent. They benefit with little political fall out.
