Same wishes from our family to yours. Your blog is always worth reading so keep doing what you have been doing. The blog accepts people who obviously are not supportive but most of can figure therm ou23833999t rather quickly
The blog accepts people who obviously are left wing supporters and constantly whining and complaining but most can figure them out rather quickly.
Somewhat worth reading. Not as good as Tsakumuis, but slightly better than Farell's, which is left wing ,mush. Bill's?It's entertainment. Informative somewhat but mostly yesterday's news.
and a replacement for the NDP's Democrat newspaper which was good reading in its day.
Diversify your subjects and try to be a little more positive.
and cover the NDP Leadership with a critical eye rather than shilling for a candidate of your choice.
New year, New Beginnings.
Same old fine whines.
Of course, Mr T is still lodged firmly in the past...a past where his friend, Adrian Dix, gave him a $90,0000 cheque for six months' work.
Of course Bill wants these people back in power. His livelihood depends on it. It's no patronage in his world. It's only patronage when the others side pays off their friends.
But Bill can't seem to realise that this model is done like dinner. The Dix-O'Brian-Meggs-Tieleman thing is two decades old now and has resulted in the loss of four straight elections-three of them handed to the NDP on a silver platter.
Thanks Vanstar for your generosity and kindliness at Christmas! Sadly but not surprisingly your facts are wrong, as you probably know. I was hired by Glenn Clark, not Adrian Dix. And I was not paid $90,000 at any point let alone for six months work. The only provincewide election campaigns I have played a key role in, since the 1996 surprise NDP victory, where the two STV referenda, and the Fight HST referendum.
But keep trying you may eventually get something right!

Bill, you are splitting hairs here. When you got your nice $90k job (which you tag teamed with Meggs, Adrian Dix was Chief of Staff. He recommended every post, including yours. Both you an Meggs campaigned heavily for Dix in the leadership race.
You shill for your boy incessantly in your media presence. Saying your are not involved in elections is rather disingenuous.
Vanstar is quite correct, but he's a bit high on the compensation. Bill didn't get that much, but such a position does pay out nicely. Certainly more than a public servant clerk.
As for the hiring, I'm sure Adrian had a say to Glen Clark. If Dix had objected, Bill wouldn't have been there. That's how the process works.
and yes folks, he is an example of political reward. So it's a bit hypocritical to be critical of political rewards within the Premier's Office.
It will be interesting to see who Bill supports and shills for in the NDP leadership.
Hopefully there will be more critique of the NDP. It's far from the perfect party that everyone thinks exists.
Let us not forgot that yesterday was the 10th Anniversary of the raid on the BC Legislature. It would have been good to hear his comments on that and explain why it was so good for the province. However being the Christmas season, maybe he realized we already have enough butter and sugar coating.
Sorry for delay posting last comment - a bit slow during holidays.
No worries, the NDP has been slow since February of last year.
You're keeping up to the same speed they are Bill, you're doing just fine.
New year but still nasty comments directed to Bill. I guess the salaries of Tieleman and Ms. Clark's friend at 125,000 , no competition for the job of course and nobody really knows what the job is all about.
... and this Not Non DPL is still glad the NDP didn't win because if they did, he wouldn't have anything to do because he realizes it's the NDP government he would have to constantly whine about..
plus blaming the Liberals for the "mess" the NDP is in.
Give it a rest anon 5 Jan 21:49.
Personal attacks at the blog operator and getting a bit boring. Yes we all have opinions but be fair. Many blog operators simply don't public comments such as yours.
DPL give it a rest yourself. Be happy the NDP didn't win. If they did, many blog contributors wouldn't have anything to do.
Be glad they lost. At least the quality of the fine whines such as yours can be kept up and kept on the shelf.
2014 promises to be a good year for fine whines because of the lack of an NDP government.
