Like the poster says, let's remember to live more and buy less - and help those in need at this special time of year.
Cheers,

Same to you and yours Bill. A number of years ago we started using the system of all local family members names go into the hat, and we each draw a family member and get them a gift. Sure cuts down on ,time spent, money spent for stuff somebody may or may not want. Big family meal to exchange the gifts, then slip some money to the local food bank.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you and all your family-looking forward to more blogs in the New Year.

Agree there. Let's buy less BC forest products (lumber), forget the $12.00 floor guy at Wal Mart or better still the $10.00 an hour floor guy at Future Shop (good idea).
Help those in need? There's plenty to help here. Especially when it comes to fundamentals in politics. Many still don't have a basic understanding (look how many times "dictatorship" came up esp. by a few people).
One can be critical of the Liberals and NDP, but let's get to the issues rather than the perpetual personality killing. Adrian Dix isn't exactly the most fun person to be with in a ferry line up for the ferry to Langdale.
All the best to you 'n' yours Bill Tieleman.
Couldn't help noticing the juxtaposition of the "I want you to buy less and live more" photo/poster and the "Boxing Week Sale Save 15% on all products until December 31.11" ad/link.
And don't even get me started on the "buy less live more" and www.iDateAsia.com possibilities...
"I want you to buy less and live more"
Buy to live, and live to buy.
Don't "buy" into Adrian Dix being moderate.
Ain't going to happen.
Jim "Big Labour" Sinclair won't let that happen, even though Sinclair seems to come across as perpetually happy.
