Bill Tieleman's 24 hours/The Tyee column - delayed - I'm on assignment

Bill Tieleman at Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, this June.
Once again, the Cubs are out of the playoffs! Photo unrelated to my column.

Just a note to loyal readers of 24 hours Vancouver newspaper and The Tyee online that my regular Tuesday column will be delayed, as I'm on assignment on a big story.

UPDATE - watch for my column Thursday in 24 hours and The Tyee!

Is it about the stadium???

Some BS anti-Liberal story spun as actual news as usual, no doubt? Can't wait!

Yeah can see that. Some big story regarding a U.S. baseball team no doubt.

Forget the idea that Major League Baseball will get one out of the park in Canuck Town

Way out in left field on that one.

Thanks for the interest - the photo of my at Wrigley Field in Chicago has absolutely nothing to do with the upcoming article! Just grabbed it out of my photo library since it's baseball playoff season!

What does Wrigley Field have anything to do with the MLB playoffs? The Cubs finished 5th in the NL Central

Bill:

If you ask me, you are taking in the World Series. Well. someone has to do it!

Ha-ha - the Cubs are the losing-est franchise in professional sports history - and still making millions being losers!

Wish I was going to the World Series but sadly no.

Dear Mr. Tieleman:
As I type there are nine comments but no subject other than YOU. Rumors are true, YOU are a very important gentle man and a gifted leader. Please lead us down an election path. Do not disappoint most of your flock of followers. Even, anti followers will be happy to comment.

@Henri

Truly a stunning display... I hope they are not being paid with our tax dollars. Or maybe this is what the BCLiberals actually practice when they claim they are hiring the best and the brightest... it would explain a lot.
