PVR the game if you can in victoria, folks. While an important game, it's only three periods long. The HST, if we don't stop it, will last a whole lot longer. Maybe the MC and panelists can promise not to give updates on the game, so you can enjoy it completely when you get home after the Town Hall in Vic.
The HST has been great for my business. Mr. Tielemen, the only reason why YOU don't like the HST is because there isn't as many input tax credits with consulting businesses. So you don't have any savings with your company.
When you have to purchase equipment, such as heavy machinery, the cost savings with the HST are a no-brainer. Examples would be logging contractors, road builders, excavating contractors, owner- operator truckers, etc.
Please, stop insulting people by saying you're trying to "fight" for the working people of BC. You're fighting for Bill Tielman, period.
VanderZalm, Delaney. Tieleman
BC's Got Talent.
Who gets the three "X"s?
I'd say Delaney first.
Who would be dumb enough to have a public meeting take place during an important hockey game??
Hey Anon,12:49. Re read your own comments. A hockey game interests a lot of people but the HST affects all of us, including you. We arn't all suddenly addicted to a so called game where rich guys push around a piece of rubber, and now and again hit each other hard enough to cause concussions. Many of the instant fans will fade when Vancouver loses or maybe wins. Either way the sun will come up the next morning

It laready has. The sun will come up the next morning even if the HST stays, and VanderZalm fades.

I'm glad the Hst is so good for your situation. I'm not so glad of having to subsidize your endeavours though, and as such will be voting "YES" to get rid of the most regressive tax any government could sign on to.

Hmmm.. what about the GST? The federal Lieberals said they would get rid of it. The Nova Scotia NDP raised their HST percentage.
Then going back further, there's VanderZalm's Property Transfer Tax, which was never put to public vote.
HOW TO REMOVE THE LIBERALS the FAST WAY! Print HST on the Foreheads of all of their face pictures and publicize their pictures with HST as a crown on their heads. BC People will not forget what the arrogant Liberals did.. HST... Remove them from power. We told Liberals.. NO HST.. they didn't give a damn what the voters said and we got HST. We overturned HST and the arrogant Liberals refuse to reverse HST right now. Reverse the Liberals - Kick them out of town. Liberals - taxing the poor. And now using abuse of power - again.. they threw away $30,000,000 of our money. Kick the Liberals out of Town. Print HST on all of their heads as a crown so the public can remember them.
