It is unfortunate this level has become so politicized under BC Liberals. The DM's should be professional public service managers, uninvolved in partisan posturing.

" And let's not even talk about the $30 billion obligation B.C. has to the IPPs in contracts stretching over the next quarter century"

Actually, its worse than that. In Notes to the Financial Statements of BC Hydro's audited financial statements for 2011, the number for future energy purchases has grown to $43 billion, up from $17.1 billion shown on the 2010 financials.

This is almost unbelievable growth in the course of one year. He did absolutely everything he could do, to destroy this province and the people and bankrupt BC hydro.

What idiotic reason would Campbell, bring in these foolish meters? There has to be money in it for him, somewhere. The meters were forced upon the BC citizens. A total stupid waste of money.

Christy is far too useless, to fix the problem. All she is focused on is, forcing the HST on her "family's first", seniors and low income people. Instead of undoing Campbell's corruption, and evil deeds, she is adding to his insanity. Never have I ever seen, so many politicians that, so completely lack logistics. The BC Liberals, don't even make any sense.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35935973.post-40253051222593382092011-08-17T11:24:04.258-07:002011-08-17T11:24:04.258-07:00Just read the comment as to whether or not the NDP...Just read the comment as to whether or not the NDP are commenting. I "heard Mr. Hogan state on our Radio station, CFAX ( not CFOX)as to their position is to call the moratorium. Review what has been done and readjust the program. Is that not comment sense. To quote the Stickman " the Govt listen" However Ms. Clark appears to be deaf to the public and only has ears for the elite in this province. When she listen and lowered the HST rate and did not advertise the increase in Business taxes as an offset. Did the elite yell increase business taxes is a job killer. Well I guess they could grin and bare as they know in the future they will be very, very, well rewarded. NDP is the true party of the people. MSM may be partly to blame on not reporting what NDP members have to say, but in my mind, we just have not been hearing what the NDPs position on any of the issues to date are.People want a choice in the next election, they are looking for an alternative to the Lieberals ( desparately ). Please, will the NDP start singing out about their plans and ideas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35935973.post-91432932756105803522011-08-16T22:22:43.900-07:002011-08-16T22:22:43.900-07:00Well, first of all, the buzz of the HST election h...Well, first of all, the buzz of the HST election has only increased as a result of the liberal mismanagement of the process. If things were quiet on the HST front, this Smart Meter program would probably have an even louder voice. Let the Stickman yell again but to the defeat f the baby smart meters. The public is asking questions. The liberals are once again being big brother or sister After the HST, who is going to trust their statements. A moratorium is in order followed by a public hearing by the PUC.That group has the right to hold hearings but our undemocratic gentlemen decided an end run about this body would be accepted by BC resident. At a hearing compromising ideas would be in order. Please, Ms Clark listen to the voters and give us a voice. Do the right thing, please and thank you.Ken in Victoriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13629652826082135743noreply@blogger.com
